Leading Through Conflict

A Workshop Opportunity with Renowned Facilitator, Susan Nienaber

Leading Through Conflict Workshop

Friday October 27 - Saturday October 28, 2023

In-Person in Calgary, Alberta

Online, via Zoom

A LeaderSHIFT Event, in Partnership with Chinook Winds Regional Council

This workshop is for Lay Leaders and Ministry Personnel in the Chinook Winds Regional Council of The United Church of Canada — and anyone wanting to gain practices and learn traits to navigate conflict faithfully, and successfully.

With Susan Nienaber, participants will learn the essential practices and traits of communities of faith, and leaders, that lead to successful navigation of conflict in congregations!

The goal of this Workshop is to increase the health of communities of faith, and the effectiveness of ministry personnel.

Susan has worked with United Church congregations and regions extensively. She knows our context, our polity and our theology. More importantly, she knows how to help communities and leaders learn more about themselves, so that they can lead more faithfully and effectively. According to Susan, “In an age of great divisiveness and polarization, I am an eternal optimist. I believe in human and organizational transformation and have devoted my life to walking alongside people who are experiencing enormous change and challenge.” Sounds like the church right now!
